Life Married in 1980 and that lasted several years. Then I moved to Gulf Shores, Al & made a career w/ a Telephone Co. for 15 years. I retired & the co. sold so I moved back to Hoptown. Hopefully I will return to Alabama where I experienced happiness & contentment. I have found nothing in Hoptown to make me happy except family. The best thing I ever did for myself was to leave here & I feel the same today. I do love the beautiful country-side but other than family, that is about it. :) Now that I'm in Gautier MS I'm doing very well & loving life more than ever! The Mary Walker Bayou is my front yard & nothing can b more beautiful & full of excitement with all the wildlife & of course the gators visiting every morning & evening! Love the coast life & so many different ways to go & enjoy the water, from the beach to the bayou only minutes apart! Finally with a man that I meet 37 yrs ago & it's a grand life to have & enjoy! Can't imagine being anywhere else with anyone else! On Sept 19, 2023 I had 1 of most devastating days in my life! My 12 yr old lab Lady was the sweetest dog, she was my partner in crime, my shadow, my protector & my best friend & she had been feeling bad so I took her to the vet & when they called with her results I only had 2 hrs more with her. I had no idea this was happening but her kidneys were failing so I had no choice but to put her down! I don't have the words to express what this has...Expand for more
