Life I left Mass. , went to Colorado then lived in and around Calif 'til I moved to Arizona with my parents (who are both dead now). I love nursing- since ~age 6. I studied and earned my LPN, working on my BSN. (clinicals) in Las Vegas, Nevada and completed my Associates degree in Nursing. I was working in THE trauma center in Las Vegas when I met Jack...my hubby. He is (was) a paramedic...currently disabled with a back injury. We moved to Colorado after we each lost our mother. In Colorado we had a mini farm-and 2 boys to keep us entertained. I worked in the Navajo Indian Hospital (IHS) in Shiprock, N.M. This is the 4 Corners of the U.S....the ONLY point where 4 states share a common point. I worked in ICU. I finished my BSN. A Then transferred to Portland, OR. working with the Veterans who give us our freedom. I have FINISHED my Master's degree in Nursing, certified as a Public Health CNS. I worked for the Portland VA Medical Center in the GI dept. Didn't understand- Oregon is one of about 5 states that taxes employees who work there, without a right to vote.. I had been trying to get a Columbia Tea Party going...dumping Starbuck's into the Columbia River to protest this violation of the constitution; no takers. I am now retired- September, 2020.
