Renee's Story
Life
I can't believe I am back in Harrison Township and I love it here! I live with my finace Bobby and our flat-coated retriever, McCarty. Since I don't have any kids McCarty is my baby. YES, I am one of those people that does not have kids and thinks their dog is the best thing EVER! It is OK, I have a lot of friends with kids and 3 nieces that I can spoil instead. We live on the lake and spend as much time as possible out on our boat.
School
High school uggh! It is funny how important it seemed back then and how insignificant those 4 years were in comparison to the rest of your life. If I only knew then what I know now!!
College
I went to EMU for the first year. Then transferr...Expand for more
ed to MSU. Those were the best of times spent with my roommate and BFF Cheryl. MSU Football, tailgates, working at Bennigan's, springbreak(s), Rick's and hanging out with the MSU hockey team, upside down beer bongs, living on Spartan Street. GO STATE!
Workplace
Currently I work for an investment firm on the westside (Farmington Hills). I got my first "real job" in Boston at Scudder Investments. I moved back to MI in 1995 and worked at the family business for a few years, OK it was 6 yrs, then I decided to try financial planning and got my series 6,63,7,24 & CFP. Somehow I have ended up as the Director of Operations and Human Resources. It must be because I am so good with people......
