Reta's Story
I am living in Bismarck Arkansas, move here to be close to my dad who is in his 80"s. I also have inherited land that I want to put a home on someday. I teach special ed. at Hot Springs High School. Teachers pay is not great but the kids I work with make my day interesting. I teach living skills to autistic, mentally disabled, and/or down syndrome students.
My oldest son (Evan), was headed to New Mexico when my dad got bit by a copperhead, that was two years ago. He lives here. He works with disabled adults. At the moment he says he is content. He plays the guitar for a local church and is in a Christian band. They are in the process of making a CD.

ndrew turns 1 in Jan.
Chris, my youngest has just moved here, after living awhile in Oregon. He is taking courses to be able to teach English. He wants to teach in China.
I visit CA 2 times a year to see family and friends.
This school year found me coaching my special ed students in basketball. We had 2 teams in the Special Olympics this year The freshmen/sophmores took 3rd and my junior/senors team took 2nd place. This was the first year that Hot Springs High School had a teams place that high. The jumior/senior team had me biting my nails and screaming until I had no more voice. We were down 16/2 at the half and came back...the other team won 20/18 in the
last 10 seconds of the game. Glad I don't coach normally my heart wouldn't take it.
