Rex's Story
Life
Met Annelies in 1965 , now married 57 years. Served in the military , worked for BellSouth / AT&T 30+ years, retired in 2000. Enjoying the 5 kids,and 21 grandkids, 6 great grandchildren. I sold the old house and bought more land where I live with Annelies in our log home on my own 6 acre pond with woods all around me. :) I was always a recluse. I spend lots of time with kids, family, dogs, fishing, farming, raising GameCocks and riding my Harley. I keep about 200 Game Chickens. I raise catfish in another small pond. Several of my kids bought adjacent acreage so we have lots of kids around. All my kids & grands live within 6 mi.
We spend lots of time watching ducks, geese, herons and other birds from the front porch. Life is a blast!

School was a waste for me except the fun I had disrupting the process.Girls got most of my attention. Stayed on detention or expelled. Flunked more than I passed and always fighting. I did have fun though.
College
Dropped out of High School. Went to College for AA Degree in Business and for a AA degree in Marketing. Then went to U. of South Carolina toward degree in Psychology .
Enjoying retirement and love all the kids hanging on me.
Workplace
Retired at 52 fron AT&T/BellSouth after 33 years...well it was a paycheck anyway. I was the 2nd level or Area Manager for SC over Public Communications. I had offices all over SC & surrounding states so it kept me on the move. However work was just a game. I am happily retired now so....whatever.
