Rex's Story
After graduating in 1982, I worked in a grocery store in Alliance for a couple years. In 1984 went to Chadron State College where I graduated in 1989 with a BA in Music Education.
Married in 1987, divorced in 1992. My son Logan was born 10/09/87... easy date to remember.10,9,8,7. :)
After my divorce, I had custody of Logan, I spent the next 16 years raising my son. What a great kid!
We played a lot of video games, watched our favorite TV shows, MacGyver, JAG, Boston Legal, just to name a few, and built several computers along the way.
Logan graduated in the top of his class in 2006 from Norfolk High School, 36th out of 375. Scored a 31 on his ACT's, and earned ...Expand for more
a full ride scholarship to UNL, majoring in Computer Science. He is in his third year there. He will be marring the love of his life on May 12, 2009 on the beach in Malibu California.
I am in my 19th year of teaching music, my 3rd year at Howells Nebraska, a very small town in Eastern Nebraska.
I also am a certified TaeKwondo instructor at the Norfolk Martial Arts Center in Norfolk Nebraska. I am currently training for my 4th degree black belt testing in June.
In 2004 I got certified as a personal trainer, 2005 as a strength and conditioning specialist, and opened my own personal training business and did that on the side for a couple years.
