Rhys's Story
Although I left Putnam City in my Junior year, I consider myself a part of the class of 1980.
I went the GED route and got a degree in telecommunication technology - which qualified me to work work as an engineer in video post production. Eventually I became a freelance video editor and then opened my own video production company in 1997. I'm about to sell the assets of that business to Brevidia, a new corporation that I'm starting to make on-demand video-based e-learning programs for line level employees in the food processing industry. ught in some great people to be CEO and VP of marketing. It's very strange to be hiring your own boss but I'm excited to have a chance to focus on creatively developing the products.
I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since high school. I got married very young (20) and was a dad just before I turned 22 - My two boys are now 21 and 25 and live nearby. My younger son works for me part time while he goes to school. I'm still friends with my ex-wife. I'm remarried, we've been together for 15 years. She said she'll join me for the reunion.
