Ric's Story
Well since high school I joined the Army in 1996 and was stationed at Fort Knox KY. I got married to Felicity Shurtleff and we had a beautiful little girl and named her Natasha. I was also stationed in South Korea at Camp Casey with HHC 2/72 AR in the Scout Platoon. I left the Army in order to go to college and returned to Salt Lake. Felicity and I divorced and got my Associates Degree from SLCC. I transferred to the University of Utah where I majored in Political Science and also attended the ROTC program. life, Heather. We got married in 2003 and I graduated the U and got a commission in the U.S. Army in 2004. I was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA and a year and a half later went to Ft. Hood, TX. I deployed to Iraq and served as an Infantry Platoon Leader and that has best the best job I could have ever asked for. Heather and I also had a little girl name Gabrielle. Natasha finally has a little sister. Now we are getting ready to move again this time we are going to Ft. Jackson, SC. We are happy and will attend the next class reunion.
