Well, since you're here, here's a synopsis about life since high school graduation on MAY 1968: On November, 2008, we moved BACK to Georgia from Albuquerque. In August of 2005 I retired and we thought that house in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains was to be our resting place. The entire 13 months we lived there was like one big vacation. Traveled almost everywhere around that state of NM, Arizona, California, etc. But in the end, Gran'Ma and I did miss the grandkids. I retired from AT&T after 28 years and thought going back to my home state after a 36 year absence would be great. It was wonderful but we missed our grandkids that all lived in Georgia and Virginia. We lived in Griffin, GA until June of 2012. It's remembered for being the home of Doc Holiday (of the Wyatt Earp and OK Corral fame). In April of 2011, THREE of five grandkids who lived within a short drive of us in Griffin, GA moved to Alpine, TX with their mom and dad. Only thing I could say here is... "If we would have stayed in Albuquerque, we'd be within a short driving distance of them, still. Well... Asi es la Vida! We finally gave in to the pull on our heart strings and moved our household to back to the grand State of Texas. Alpine is out in the Big Bend area of far West Texas but we only staye...Expand for more
