Rich's Story
Moved from Levittown in 1975 to Bohemia. I married in 1978, and belonged to the Bohemia Fire Department for 15 yrs. Raised three children. Coached youth baseball & football. Ran the Connetquot Touchdown Club for 10 yrs., and was a board member of Sunrise Little League for 10 yrs. I was involved in starting a foundation called "Connetquot Foundation for the Advancement of Children" (CFAC), to help the children of the Connetquot School District. O and Keyspan)after 28 years of service in 2008. Sold the house in Bohemia and moved to Kure Beach NC in 2008. We built a new home in Carolina Beach, and I am enjoying my retirement on the beach living on Pleasure Island. I own collector cars and belong to the Sun Coast Cruisers car club. My wife and I are big Jimmy Buffett fans, and belong to the Pleasure Island Parrot Heads doing charity work. My days are filled with drinking margaritas, cruise'n with the cars, and chill'n at the beach.
