Richard (Dick)'s Story
Life
Fun social life but less than productive academic effort in grade school.
Thoroughly satisfying 30 year career in the Navy. Started as a meteorological technician and eventually became a Chief Petty Officer in charge of the east coast navy technicians and a professional naval sailor. I had some very exciting times at sea and specialized in underwater acoustics...yes, sub hunting during the cold war. I still miss going to sea!

I started a second career as a public servant and retired as Department of National Defence Superintendent of Geomatic Services for eastern Canada. Geomatics means all things related to geographic information services.
Divorced and widowed with four great children and now, three grandkids.
I have kept in touch with most of my closest friends from Smithers and naval coleagues. Sadly, some are no longer with us.
I would dearly love to hear from anyone.
