Richard's Story
Not a very exciting story but then most exciting stories have a bit of fabrication dont they :) Graduated from Bryant University in Rhode Island with a Business Degree and went to work for Bambergers (Remember them) in Newark as a Jr. Executive (Thats a title with no money) I quickly discovered that wasnt for me so off I went to manage a department for 2Guys in both Union and Hanover (Remember them :) It didnt take long to discover retail wasnt my thing so I went to Newak State for a year at night working on a Psych degree. The studying and work plain burned me out and I had the yearning to travel a bit. With back pack in hand, or should I say back, I took off to Europe and the Middle East for a year working my way through as I went. 3 weeks or so on the way home spent in London,Amsterdam,Italy and Austria. I had left a "girl" I was dating behind to sew my wild oats and wound up marriyng her when I got home...huge mistake. That lasted about 3 years but fortunately no children! After 2 years or so of doing the club thing I met by current wife of 36 years. I wound up working for a family friend in the Import business and liked being a big fish in a small bowl. I I have been there for 33 years (lots of hats hang on that hat rack) My wife is and has been teaching for 42 years and plans on calling it a day in a year or so. I figure I am good for another year. With 2 grandchildren and one on the way in January the free time would be nice. Well as they said at the Rialto Theater and the end of the cartoons "thats it folks"
