Richard's Story

Life: (15 years ago) I have an overly, extremely intelligent daughter who will debate any issue with the same fervor I do. It's interesting to hear her perspectives and she has a curiosity about mine, but we usually end up agreeing that we don't view many things the same way and move on to finding something fun to do. She was six when I wrote that. ;-) Time flies. She went on to get her degree before graduating high school and now she has decided to become a professional a model. I did not see that coming! She is the funniest person I know, so the hard life of a comic would have been my guess, had she chosen anything besides science. I owned a production company that designs most of the websites you know and love. We also produced short movies and games that are internationally known and videos for major league sports teams. On that know, "Hey, Eric! You're right, this Classmates.com idea was pretty good move for ya. When are you coming back to work for me?" ;-) (Eric was our best programmer until he got involved in creating this site. He's brilliant.) Life: (Last year) I was the Chief Technology Officer for a Congressionally Chartered Military Organization. So all technology, throughout the country and wherever we have bases, I was involved in. Careful what you wish for. That was years of hell, but I did write articles that went to Congress and high-ranking military personnel that were kind of fun to read as well as predicting new moves in technology. And my teachers in HS said I would never amount to anything, LOL. Life: (2016) Writing a lot of books, making a lot of music, enjoying making covers with a HS friend. Strangely I live on a golf course, but don't play golf. Living in the jungle we named Florida. Still in touch with many of my friends from HS. ...Expand for more
Became a Lord, that's been interesting. Shocking people that I'm still alive. Currently growing my hair out again. I know the ladies will love that. Ha ha. I do miss the gals running up to touch my hair before I cut it all off a few years ago. Still a damned handsome man! Update: I now have 18 novels (WAIT! 3 are not novels they are books and small but beloved by the readers, nonetheless.) I keep thinking I am retried from anything military or technology based, but life is like a rubber band, the further you run from it the harder the snap back is going to be. The books are doing fairly well, given that I've only been doing it for 18 months. That is to say, I'm starving! LOL It's a big change from limos, women, presidential suites to well, still women, but no more presidential suites or having my own driver. One very kind woman buys me food so I don't starve whilst writing book after book. So, basically, that's my life. I suspect many of the people who read this are aware of my condition. Please take my advice. DO NOT listen to the Doctors! 2-3 weeks my butt. It's been almost 3 1/2 years since I was told to go home and call Hospice. Last I checked, I'm still walking around just fine., except fort he broken leg. That's been a bit of a drag. I still walk on it, but it kind of hurts to do so, considering, it's broken. Do not let things like that slow you down! A body in motion tends to stay in motion. A body at rest tends to stay at rest. If you are reading this, I know you. Thank you for being, in your way, and influence on my world. Now, onto doing Lord stuff! Okay, you got me. There really isn't much Lord stuff besides showing people the documents signed by overly paid attorneys. If you are looking for some great books to read, check out: BooksNotBurned.com
