Richard Brown:  

After graduating from SVA in 1959, I attended Columbia Union College, met my precious Judy Scoble, and married her in 1963. I graduated from CUC in 1964 with a B.A. in Zoology, Psychology, and Religion. I attended The Ohio State University for a year and received the M.S. in Zoology in 1970. We taught at Garden State Academy in Tranquility, NJ, from 1966 to 1970, and then went back to OSU to receive the Ph.D. in Zoology in 1975. I was Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1975 to 1983. While there I founded the Carolina Raptor Center located north of Charlotte, in Huntersville, NC. From 1980 to 1987 I was Executive Director. CRC has been and still is doing very, very well! I was also Adjunct Professor of Biology at UNCC from 1984 to 1995.
