I had started in Cub Scouts and finished as an Eagle Scout. Lots of work, lots of fun, lots of camping!
Mr (Ron) Kniepkamp encoraged me to consider engineering... It made way too much sense. Today I'm an Engineer! (He now lives in St Louis)
College
ME Auto.
Founder of A Section Bicycle Club.
Gymkana '68 VW Fastback.
The first time I saw GMI was Orientation Weekend just before registration.
I didn't let studies get in the way of my "Education"...
So I just barely graduated...
My Naval Academy brother called it "GM Academy" as he left after a 4 day visit.

her and I compared our big car/aircraft design project reports. Same sections. Similar conclusions and recommendations. Same Force vs Angle graph (Slip Angle / Angle of Attack). The only significant difference was the shape of the line on that graph. Aircraft are much less forgiving, easier to crash!
Founded the A Section Bicycle Club.
Did VERY well on the GREs.
'Always had lots of difficulties getting into graduate programs because the other schools would always rescore the transcript to calculate their equivalent CUM.
And it was always WAY TOO LOW...
I try to visit the Kettering Formula SAE Team when they go to the Silverdome.
Always good kids.
I always try to give them advice that is practical and matters to them most...
