Life
Dec 2007 - This has been a very different year compare to the rest of my past. In July 2006, Time-Warner Telecom announced that were purchasing Xspedius. In Nov 2006, that acquistion was completed. In Dec 2006, they invited me in a conference room and told me that they are closing the Sterling, Virginia Data Center and that I had two choices: 1) Accept a nice bonus and stay on until the closing of the Data Center was completed and then I would have to find another job. 2) I could relocate to Denver where the HQ & Data Center is. They would pay for the relocation expenses. So, my STBX (soon-to-be-ex) and I opted to move to Denver since that is where I am from and SHE felt more comfortable with the security of my job. ith many challenges and stresses. But the team is finally coming together. On Nov 29th 2007, STBX and I had a falling out. On Dec 4th 2007, she left. It took me almost three weeks but I have found out that she is in Maryland with her sister. She's made NO attempts to contact me. So, I know the marriage is over. FREEDOM!!! Yes!!!!!!!!
Late 2000 - I switch jobs. I am now working for a Communications Firm called, "Xspedius". It is located in Sterling, Va. Since I joined Xspedius in 2000, we have moved twice. Once, to Charles Town, West Virginia. We recently sold that house to purchase a 10-acre farm in the mountains of Virginia near Winchester, Va. It is about an hour cummute to work.
