Richard's Story
After graduation from Horace Mann in 1952, I enrolled in East Central. In January 1957, I had to drop out of college to go into the Army. I returned from the Army in 1959 and started to work for Montgomery Ward. In 1960 I started back to college and finished my degree in 1963.
I worked at several jobs after graduation and in 1965 I started to work at the Wetumpka Hospital as accountant and soon became administrator. 1967 to 1969, I went to college at OBU to get my Hospital Administrator degree...Expand for more

I worked at several hospitals in the state and after 20 years I quit the hospital work and went to work for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health. I worked for them for 16 years and retired in 1999 and settled in Woodward.
I enjoyed my work because it was helping people during a time of need. I always felt that I was service my fellow man.
I haven't been intouch with many of the classmates that I graduated with and if anyone knows where they are located, I really would like to know.
