Life
H. Richard Dobson Sr,CFP. Widowed . Residence: Tucson, Arizona. Occupation: Retired Chairman and CEO, American Financial Management, Ltd.(Investment Mgt. Co.) 4 children, 10 grandchildren. Born Douglas, Wyo. Grew up in Mt. Airy, NC. Grad MAHS 1952. Served U S Navy, U S Army and U S Air Force.
My first "real" job (1947) was at The Main Street Grill in Mount Airy N C, where I was paid $20.00/week (84 hrs) to wash dishes/Waiter. What I remember most about it is the Hard Work, Neat people.
My hero has always been John Wayne.

I love Bluegrass music. I have a band, "Handpicked Bluegrass" and we play in the Tucson, Arizona area. Also have a companion, Bubba, My 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer.
My current age is 74. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be stuffy and ready for the rocking chair. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm a good friend, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a person on the move wih lots of interests.
