Richard's Story
Life
I finished SVHS, played all summer and joined Uncle Sam's 'Big Canoe Club' in the fall of '67. Ended up getting 'scammed' by the recruiter and put into the Advanced Weapons Electronics program in Great Lakes! Ha! Knew more about the electronics on the systems than did the instructors, thanks to Mr. Tona. Got 'nailed' by Victor Charlie a couple of times, then came home to marry my childhood sweetheart, had 2 wonderful kids and became an EMT in the Springbrook & East Aurora VFD's. ed, entered the Sherrifs Dept of Corrections in Erie County, transferred out of there to Las Vegas. From Vegas to Ely, Nevada as a Mental Health Technician (at the Supermax prison hospital). A Freelance Writer since Viet-nam I continued my writing with a nationally syndicated column on motorcycle events and people. Currently own a business management consulting and a Pre-press / Graphic Arts firm in the Reno, NV area. Single again! Still riding, still writing, having a great time, life IS GOOD!
