Richard Edwards:  

I traveled a bit. Lived in Northern California for college and after. Graduated from Sonoma State in 1973. Worked for awhile for the Sonoma County Probation Department. Moved back to Southern California and got into the construction business. Traveled a bit more. Began getting involved in Union politics. Went to graduate school at University of Redlands. Received degrees in Management and Business Administration. Received my teaching credential from UCLA. Went to work for a fortune 500 company in human resources management. Got sick of it and left. Got involved in Union politics again. Rose up the ladder and I was the Business Manager, Financial Secretary-Treasurer of the Plumber, Steamfitter, Pipefitter and Refrigeration Fitter's Local Union for the Inland Counties of Southern California. And the President of The Southern California Pipe Trades and District Council 16 and the President of the California State Pipe Trde. I retired in 2017. My retirement goal was to sit on the front porch and yell at the neighbor kids to keep off the grass. Instead woodworking, restoring old furniture and creating new pieces, in between traveling the country visiting kids and seeing sight...Expand for more
