Richard's Story

After graduating from Kearney High School in 1963, I attended Kearny State College (Nebraska State University at Kearney), graduating in 1967. In 1967, I left Kearney for graduate school at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University (including a year in Pakistan as an intern, eventually receiving my PhD. I then spent 28 years in Anchorage, Alaska teaching at the Unviersity of Alaska Anchorage. icer, Director of Institutional Research, designing the Business School computer facilities, etc. I also was appointed by the governor to the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, by the mayor to the Anchorage Telephone Utility. Beyong my professional work, I raised a son and daughter, who are both now married and each have a two year old. I also remarried 13 years ago and am now am retired living in Arizona. I enjoy travel which we do extensively, computer technology, and genealogical research. I would like to hear from any class or KHS or KSC graduate.
