Richard's Story

Military I went into the US Army in the summer of 1963. I served in 1st Armored Division, Artillery in Fort Hood, Tx; 3rd Armored Div. Admin. in Germany and 1st Infantry, 2nd Bn 16th Inf. Rangers in South Vietnam. I got out after 2 years, 10 months and 26 days. I feel for our troops...Expand for more
in Iraq and hope the cowards in Hollywierd and congress will stop trying to make this another Vietnam experience. The US Military never lost a single combat engagement in Vietnam. It was lost on college campuses, Hollywood and our press-fearing congress. I'm not bitter, just better.
