Richard's Story
Life
I was married for 30 years and have two great kids. I have been single for a little more than twelve years. My son, Richard C who works for General atomic as an engineer and is married to a young lady has just earned her doctorate in plasma Physics. My daughter, Suzanne (Suzie) is married and is Teaching Chemistry. She and her husband have just made me a grandfather for the first time October 08 and my son and Daughter in Law informed me that they were not to be outdone and I will have two grandchildren in December 09. I was a teacher also and taught Chemistry and adv. Chemistry. I also taught some math, Electronics and Photography as well as other sciences. I have many interests but flying, both in real and of late models again take a lot of my time. I also enjoy hiking into wilderness areas to enjoy the surroundings and to take photos. llege I had a Classic Mini for transportation so when the new model came out I eventually broke down and bought one of the MINI Cooper S models. I still have the old one and plan to restore it. I just couldn't part with it. I have plenty to do in retirement and don't want to go back to work but I do miss the people I worked with and my students. There were only a couple in 33 years of teaching that I would not mind if I didn't see them again. :-) I recently moved back into the same house I went to high school from. I bought my brother and sisters shares from my parents estate and sold my old house to my son.
