Richard's Story
We're getting close to retiring and just celebrated our 45 wedding anniversary. Still working as a podiatrist and am very active in "serve" projects at church (ridiculously huge church) - disaster (flood, hurricane, tornado), wheelchair ramp construction (over 70), house builds for indigent or addiction recovery ministries. Somehow I got conned into being the general contractor for 3 houses and then my team helped with doing all the preliminary work on 14 houses when tornadoes hit our community 2 years ago...Expand for more
. Have gone to Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, New York, Florida, Peru, Costa Rica, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Georgia on disaster response trips or home repair youth mission trips.
Hobbies include snow skiing, hiking, photography, and traveling with my wife (thanks to her job) and we're heading to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest in 3 months where I hope to get some decent photos. She took me along to Alaska, Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria in the past - nice job perc.
