Richard L Gant President & CEO of The RL Gant Group Inc., a sports, entertainment and media marketing company with headquarters in New York City and an international office in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
Since founding RL Gant in 1995, Richard has established a world-class marketing firm. He leads the company's growth by expanding its global positioning, taking advantage of the enormous synergies between sports, events, entertainment, media and general market projects.
RL Gant has significantly grown its marketing expertise through a strong presence in sports marketing, management, production and through development of marketing partnerships, event sponsorship and programming for companies, organizations and properties like, American Airlines, Ford, the FUVI Celebrity Golf Classic, Gevril, JVC, Buick, The Official Annual of the PGA Tour, The Presidents Cup, Lana¿i at Manele Bay and The Lodge Koele.
On the client management side, RL Gant represents and directs marketing activities for professional athletes across major sports like NFL. MLB, tennis, golf and soccer as well as action sports athletes Luigi Cani and Jimmy Blaze Feges.

Mr. Gant's entertainment credentials were earned working as a professional musician and composer in various artistic settings. He has directed music for numerous theatrical productions and began receiving conservatory training at Howard Universities Institute of Jazz under the direction of trumpeter, composer and educator Dr. Donald Byrd directly after leaving high school in Seattle.
He also earned a BA in Marketing from City University of New York, graduating cum laude and holds a certificate in Sports, Entertainment and Events Marketing from New York University. Mr. Gant maintains an appointment at NYU as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing and has taught classes in Marketing, Sports Proposal Writing and Licensing.
He coordinated the annual Sports Entertainment and Events Marketing Summer Institute and is a featured speaker on sports, entertainment and events marketing at international forums. Mr. Gant was appointed leader of the NYU Summer Institute in Entertainment and Events Marketing in May 2006.
