Life
After HS grad, did 4 years of Pre-Med at UMass in Amherst-Dean's list, Honors, president of Wesley Foundation. Then down to Philadelphia for Temple Univ. School of Medicine, where I was president of Alpha Kappa Kappa social fraternity. Into Navy on graduation; did internship at Naval Hospital Oakland, CA, served on a sub-tender in San Diego for 1 year, attended Submarine Medicine School and Diving school for 6 months on east coast, then joined my submarine for duty in Japan, the Philippines and nearby areas. amily practice residency at Camp Pendleton, Ca, a little north of San Diego after a tour of duty on Guam. Was staff family physician at Long Beach Naval Hospital (where I got sober) and at Camp Pendleton. Out of Navy in '83, and worked in chemical dependency units in Orange, and Pomona, CA. Then worked several years in large medical corporations as a Family Physician. Recently sold home in Anaheim and retired to the desert next to Palm Springs, where I play on the computer, go to meetings and watch my mutual funds grow.
