(and while i'm still at it, i'm single and available...) School My own school bio could easily be another version of Bugs Bunny's script -- the one that goes "I took a wrong turn somewhere...." Let's see: 2 years at OSU, left there for personal reasons of which I care not to discuss, followed by 2.5 more years in Akron. Got the BS in 1998, only to find every prospective employer using me transferring from OSU to Akron as an excuse not to hire. Went onward to Wayne State grad program in 1999, left in May '00 with 2.44 gpa / kiss of death. Spent 2.5 years working at Meijer in toys and housewares while trying out 1 sem. of Owens in microcomputer biz systems -- that market died on 9/11. Spent another semester trying to get teaching license at Lourdes, only to have a junior-high instructor say I was unsuitable for licensure -- all on the basis of one day's observation. Now back at Akron, the last chance at dignity -- and DEFINITELY not too worried about the "or else" part NOW with me having passed ALL 5 comprehensive exams -- al...Expand for more
