Richard's Story
Did not graduate...... had something more important to do with 6 years of active duty...... Besides, anyone who knew me well in those days knows I hated school passionately. Still do. Just stayed in for my mother. Finally I'd had enough. I trained in Intelligence and Infantry, Graduated from Airborne and Ranger school. Went to Vietnam in 1971. Served with the 1st Cavalry (recon). SFG. My highest rank was SSG. When I left, I went on the FRPD. I was there 23 yrs and retired a Sergeant. I was offered a job helping Veterans. I worked for a Veterans Service Organization in Washing DC and ran the local office at the VA in Providence and Boston. I retired in 2012. Now, just enjoying life. I have a BS in Law Enforcement from Roger Williams Univ. MS in Admin of Justice/Law from Roger Williams and am certified to practice at the Court of Appeals in Washing DC.
