In 1976 I passed the California High School Proficiency Test and went on to college without a clue to what I wanted to do. After a semester as a electronics major I shifted to health care and found my niche. I've been in the nursing profession for 38 years. As a nurse I gain much satisfaction in knowing I make a difference in peoples lives. Since moving to Arkansas in 1985 I've had 2 jobs, 5 years at the North Little Rock Veterans Administration(cardiac rehab) and at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center since 1990.
