Life I grew up in Elmhurst, Il. Went to Washington Grade School, Sandburg Jr. High (now Middle School) and the old York High School. I say old because most of it was torn down and replaced about ten years ago. There are only a couple of pieces of the old school incorporated into the new one. Although many thought my childhood should have been priviledged, and it was in some ways, I had a lot of troubles to work through. I never thought I would live past my 20's, but here I am! Workplace I started off rewinding and redesigning industrial electric motors. Over the years, I have learned to do some welding, gained an Electrician's license, learned about electronic motor control systems, and programable controllers. I find that learning new things keeps life interesting. I am thinking about learning guitar or massage. Family My wife stays busy working for a group home for disabled adults and also at Bath & Body Works in Woodfield. My son, who went through many hard years of therapy for autism, is 21, has a car and a license to drive it, is currently finishing high school, and is looking for a job. He has accomplished a lot more that the doctors ever thought possible. We have two ornery cats and an obstinate pigeon. We didn't want the bird.
