Life before graduating Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck,i enlisted in the us army to become an fo-finance officer-the army wanted to make me an fo-forward observor-artillery-not my idea of a great job!! i enlisted in the army, because i didnt want to sweat the mail everyday, waiting to get drafted, and decided to do my duty, and hopefully get on with my life, and survive Vietnam--i refused OCS-officer's candidate school when i saw how much "fun" the army was-I almost went to Vietnam twice-i had my RVN training, and everything but my shots and orders-lucked out and spent two yrs in artillery and finance corps at ft.sill,okla-got married to an okie 8/70 and moved back to nj 1/71-became a CPA and had my own CPA firm for 2 yrs, until my dtr was born 5/74, and decided to move to dallas,tx where the homes were half the cost of nj, and there was no snow--my 2nd dtr was born 10/76 and i was divorced 6/80- i remained in dallas, and had become an insurance agent, for life and health insurance 4/76-was much more fun than accounting -became an LUTCF & a CFP-certified finacial planner, & had my own ins. & financial svcs co.....Expand for more
