Richard's Story

I’m Richard L. (Rick) Reaser, Jr. I have worked at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, in El Segundo, CA, since August 2006. At Raytheon, I have been the Head of the Spectrum and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Department since I joined the company. Prior to August 2006, I was a Colonel in Air Force. My last Air Force assignment was as Deputy System Program Director of the Navstar Global Position System (GPS) Joint Program Office. I actually spent a total of 12 years in the GPS Joint Program Office in three separate tours. I was the program Chief Engineer twice. ommand, the Air Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, State Department and the White House. Before coming back to Los Angeles in 2000, I served as Technical Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to the World Radiocommunication Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. I am a 1978 graduate of the Air Force Academy and hold Masters Degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and the National Defense University. I graduated from Lutheran High School in 1974. I married my Lutheran High School sweetheart, Adrienne Stepanian, Class of 1973. We have four adult children, Ricky, Robin, Allison and Amy. None are married or have children themselves. We currently live in El Segundo, California, a few miles away our childhood homes and current jobs.
