Richard's Story
I was a jerk in HS, and I appologize to everybody. I am a better person now, I think.
After HS, I went to Rio Hondo and Joined the National Guard. I did 18 1/2 years there and got out. In 1971, I was hired by LAPD and did 30 years there. I retired as a Sergeant in a Traffic assignemnent. I got to do a LOT of fun and some innovative things. Anybody who remembers me from algebra would be amazed at how that worked out.
In 1973 I got married and for some reason I will never understand, managed to remain married to this day. I have one really sweet daug...Expand for more

I still live in the area.
In retirement, I worked a few PI jobs doing insurance claims, accident reconstruction and insurance defense work. A year and a half ago, LA MTA opened up an accident investigation and reconstruction unit in the Safety Department and that's where I am now.
I still enjoy shooting in competition and will be going to a national champioship in New Mexico in a couple of weeks.
And that's about it.
Oh, yeah, I finally sold that green Comet station wagon. What a shame.
