By 1973, I was managing the 4 New York Plaza office in the Wall St. district. Joined Vanguard National Bank in Hempstead, New York where I served as President & CEO. Moved to California in 1975 and took the same position with Pacific Coast Bank in San Diego. A year later, I changed careers and joined General Dynamics Elec Division and for the next twenty years I served on the staff of three different General Managers overseeing Management Systems Procurement, Marketing. In 1986 my wife and I incorporated Quality Tax and Financial Services Inc.and after retiring from Gen Dynamics in 1995, I went to work full time here. We now have ten employees and 850 clients with a specialty in tax exempt organizations in churches.
I also founded and serve as President of RS Systems a software development firm specializing in public transportation software. Our software system for RideShare (Rufus) was in operation in Houston Metro's public transit system for about fifteen years.

the Union-Tribune and Philanthrophy Today. I also wrote a weekly column "Black on Green" for a number of years. As an ordained elder I have had the opportunity to preach the word of God at a number of churches.
I have been blessed with good health and the genes of longevity as my parents lived until age 96 and 99. This has enabled me to continue playing Senior softball until just three years ago when i tore up my shoulder in a base running collision. I continue to work on a "call as needed basis" as a Disaster Recovery Specialist for the U.S. SBA Disaster Loan Program. I have been on "virtual deployment" in this capacity since May 04, 2020 for the Covid 19 pandemic, Hurricane Laura and the No. California wildfires. Over the past 16 years I have been involved in Disaster Relief efforts for hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Maria, Irma, Harvey southwest Texas floods, Dallas TX and Oklahoma tornados and other lesser disaster events.
Life has been good. It has been exciting, rewarding, challenging and memorable. I look forward to hearing from and sharing with any of you who have been part of that experience.
