Life
If you've ever heard about people learning the hard way, I'm who they were talking about. My past is a good example of a bad example. Now I've got the future to look forward to. It's like I'm starting over from my high school days all over again now. It's pretty crazy starting a life at 36 years old. At least I've learned what not to do. Finally.
For the past 10 years I've been doing construction work. I've done mostly roofing and seamless gutter installation. "Livin on the edge (of the roof) and lookin down on people." Not really. I look up to alot of people who haven't made the mistakes I've made. I don't mean to sound negative but I have to be honest about the past and it's pret...Expand for more
ty much just that. Negative. Except for my kids. They are the two positive things from my past, present and future. Plus, finding God and Jesus have helped all kinds. I've recently switched jobs, going from a gutter installer to an office manager of a gutter company. I'm attending University of Phoenix online for my Bachelors degree in Information Technology so I can get a better job and give my kids a better life. Right now I'm livin in da ghetto/barrio but I'm trying to dig my way out of here-ASAP. The gunshots the other night were just too close to home. About 30 feet from home to be exact.
