Richard's Story
Life
Greetings from New Orleans where I have been living since fall 1985. After graduating high school I went on to 4 years at Perryville and then through the nine month novitiate program in New Orleans. I fell in love with New Orleans and decided to stay on there and leave the Vincentians. I met and fell in love with my beautiful wife Valerie and we have been happily married for the past 13 years and have three beautiful daughters ranging in age from 5 to 12. st of my career including public relations and fund raising stints with Covenant House, St. Benedicts College (a women's college in central Minnesota) and the New Orleans Mission. I am now working with the mentally handicapped managing three group homes of adult males and working one-on-one with a number of individuals (still a Vincentian at heart).
