Richard's Story
Since graduating from Waltrip High School, I've moved to Austin to attend UT-Austin. After cramming 5 years into a 4 year degree, I finally graduated with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering.
Currently living in Austin, TX and employed at a private firm where I actually get to use my degree as a structural engineer designing foundations and framings for high end custom homes.

Learning more about business ownership and entrepreneurship has been the main focus for me for the last couple of years.
I enjoy being involved in leadership activities at work, church and within the community. Over the past 3 years, I learned that the only way that I can impact and empower others is to be able to influence those around me in a positive manner.
On the way to being successful in life, I realize that there is still much to learn. I may as well make the process enjoyable and fun with as many people along the way to join in the journey.
