Life
My Spouse
I have a wonderful wife for 8 years; have been together for 10 years; I have been deployed for alot of this time and she has stuck by me.
My Pets
Just that I cherish my 3 ferrets, 3 cats, 1 Amazon Parrot, and 2 dogs; they are my close family.
Military
I enlisted in the Army Delayed Entry Program in 1985 and then reported to Infantry Boot Camp in 1986 after graduation. Immediately after Boot Camp I went to Airborne School; after Airborne School I reported to Ft. Bragg, NC. While assigned at Ft. Bragg I deployed to Panama for jungle training and then again for the invasion on 19 DEC 89. I also deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm for 8 months. I got out of the service in June 1993 and moved back to Alabama but returned to the Army in May 1994. I was stationed in beautiful Hawaii from 1994 to May 1997. ning for a month in 1997 prior to me reporting to Ft. Drum, NY in May 1997. Since I have been here at Ft. Drum I have deployed to West Point to train Cadets for the summer in 2000 and then deployed to Kosovo from October 2001 to May 2002;I deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom attached to 5th Special Forces Group in March 2003 and into 2004, I started in western Iraq but then operated in and around Baghdad. I came back to Ft. Drum but then again deployed to Iraq in June 2004 to June 2005. While there this time I was a Military Advisor for the Iraqi Army and was photograhed in the TIME magazine. I am currently scheduled to go back for my 4th Tour next summer. I am Re-enlisting today for an Indefinite amount of time; I am getting ready to hit 19 years Active Service; I am currently an E-7/SFC (Sergeant First Class) however; I serve as my Battalion Operations Sergeant Major (SGM/E-9). I enjoy my job and proudly serve.
