Rick's Story
Elementary school was Glenmore public school in West Van, BC, then moved to Coquitlam, BC where I was at Winslow J.H.S. for Gr 8 (on the "afternoon shift", anyone remember that?) Gr. 9 & 10 years were at Banting J.H.S. Then it was onto Centennial S.S. but I moved to Ontario, just before graduating in 1973. I finished high school at Markham District in spring of 1974.

eant in 1991. I retired as a Sergeant/Detective in 2007 after 31 yrs and now enjoy a lot of volunteering, travelling and scuba diving all over the world with my wife. She got some consulting work in Australia, so I spent the first 5 months of retirement scuba diving there, and travelling around in a camper while she worked! We went diving in Fiji and BC on the way home.
I have a daughter Laura, born in 1980, who is a reg'd nurse & a grandson Jacob born in 2007. My son Gregory was born in 1983. Sadly we lost him a few years ago to a drug overdose.
