After high school, attended Mesa College for 2 years. Then came 27 days of pro baseball, marriage, the "draft", and then the Army. 4 years there as a medic, specialty training as an LPN, and Physician's Asst. Worked as the pilot program for Physician's Asst. for Colorado outside of Trinidad at a coal mine. Then kids, race cars, and my announcing began. Eventually moved to Phoenix in 1984. Worked in the performance automotive aftermarket for various companies until 2005. Also continued announcing racing events across the country, hosted many racing programs for ESPN, ESPN2, Outdoor Channel, Speed TV...along with being a co-host of Racing Roundup AZ weekly radio show.
