Rick's Story
Life
After leaving Pacific High or Meramac Valley for a job at the local Chrysler plant, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Shortly thereafter I felt a call to the ministry so Catherine, my wife, and our two small boys,Robert and James set off to Springfield MO to Baptist Bible College. I graduated with a ThG in 1982,then went back in 1987 to finish a BA. Catherine and I had two more children by then, Candice and John. After those we decided not to have any more children because we heard that every 5th child born in the world was Chineese and we couldn't speak the language. LOL...Expand for more
I then enrolled in the masters program at the graduate school at the college. I finished my MABS in 1993
Since that time I have been a minister to several churches in Missouri and Oklahoma. For the past ten years I have been involved in Christian Education. I am currently the principal of Lanakila Baptist High School in Ewa (Eva) Beach, Hawaii. I have 140 students who are various shades of brown. Not to shabby for a high school drop out. Oh, Robert is in the navy, James is married and works in a foundry, Candice is a vet, and just moved here on Ohau, John is married and lives in Ardmore OK.
