Rick's Story
Life
Let's see, I am still married to my wife Kathy (22 years), have 4 children Eric (19), who played football and track in high school, is a freshman at Indiana State University majoring in athletic training, Dylan (15) who is a former 2 time state champion competetive gymnast, soccer and baseball player. Then I have my daughters Tatum (10) who plays soccer, basketball, softball and loves to act and Dayna (5) who also plays soccer and softball, is a kindergartener. We all live in Brazil, IN (for now).
School
I can't say who I had crushes on the list is large and complicated, but I can say I ended up with the right one. I can say that two teachers above all played a large part in where I am now, Mr. Hunter and my father. These two teachers were awsome beyond belief. ckages of Hostice ding dongs in my mouth to making Louisa Stites' laugh, and all the other people that made it a good times.
Workplace
I am of all things a 6th grade science teacher (Surprise) at North Clay Middle School in the Clay Community School Corporation (I can be e-mailed at the CCSC web site, if anyone wants to drop me an e-mail) and I am now on facebook. I am in my 10th year here and 13th overall (one year in Richmond, IN; one in Tell City, IN and one in Winona, IL). I would have been at OV, but they passed me up 4 times. That ticked me off big time too!!! I always wanted to teach there, but the principal in charge at the time had other agendas. North Clay is a great school and has had the best principals that I've worked for out of all of the schools I've taught at. I will most likely finish my teaching career here. I have also coached: 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls basketball, 6th and 7th grade boy's basketball, 7th grade assistant football, 6th, 7th and 8th grade boy's and girl's track and field.
