Rick's Story
After leaving Devereaux, I knocked around in California for a year, eventually moving back to Wisconsin where I grew up. I found a job at Channel 7, our local CBS station It was there that I was first trained as a studio cameraman. and within two years, I was offered the job of Chief News Photographer. Ten years later, I moved to Lexington, KY to take a similar position at Channel 27, WKYT-TV. nd Chattanooga. Being a photojournalist was the best job I ever had.
Eventually I moved to Florida, bought a house and started raising a family. I have four children now -- twin boy and girl, and two other daughters. I met my current wife in 2012, who is 22 years my junior. She's a great cook, keeps me young 😀 and we co-parent her
17-year old daughter. We all live together along with my 21-year old daughter in our home in North Carolina. I have to say being a DAD is my proudest accomplishment.
