Rick's Story
I left N.O. winter of 74 to work with a church outreach program in Buffalo, NY. Did some school there, worked various retail jobs there, then left for Syracuse in 77 to do similar work. Met and married Shelly in 81 who has remained the love of my life. Worked privately owned hardware for 23 years and have spent last 5 with Lowes. 3 kids. Erica, 23, works local retail. engaged to a wonderfull young Vermont Boy. Son Tommy, 6'2", ( who is his father?),15 years, is soph starter on high school varsity b-ball team.
I stay in touch with some N.O. YMCA friends and have the fondest memories of my one ( senior) year at Walker. I regret missing reunions.
I enjoy viewing you stories in Classmates. What became of Jeff Harwell and Mark Warner, 2 of my old friends? I hope that sparks a response!
