Rick's Story
Life
It's amazing but I made it this far I think I got here because I woke up one day and realized that there was more to life than getting stoned and getting into some sort of trouble. I have a very successful job with the U.S.Government for the past 32 years that started in the Army for 3 years and when I left the Army I then went to work for the Tooele Army Depot. When the Tooele Depot closed I moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in February 1994 where I am presently the Chief of the Aviation Readiness Division that supports all rotary winged aircraft (Helicopters)world wide. I have volunteered and served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with my latest tour being from June to November 2007. I support the military with depot level maintenance and logistics.I am married and have 4 childen 2 from a prior marriage 1 boy and 1 girl and 2 girls that I raised as my own. I had a 17 year old son that passed away...Expand for more
suddenly in August 1995 due to a river rafting accident. I have 5 grand children from 13 years to 3 months. Thanks for looking at my brief bio and I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me. Take care.
Military
I was with the D Company 703rd Maintenance Battalion, Conn Barracks from June 1972 to July 1973 and then I was with B Company 3rd Supply and Transport Battalion,Emery Barracks, Wurzburg. I worked for the Installation Coordinator and had a very good job and worked for MSG Dwight Jackson who was a very good mentor and a great soldier. During those times in the army one was on drugs or alcohol or both I served with some of the best heads in the army and had alot of fun with them and the fraulines. I am not a Bill Clinton and I do admit I did inhale. I would like to hear from Andy, Reeves, Morrison and Roper. I have been lucky enough to hook up with Al (Bud) Taylor from A Company 3rd S&T.
