Rinthya's Story
Life
I have lived in central Vermont since 1975 when Steve(you remember Steve) and I moved here and started a restaurant business in an adjoining town. We ran it until 2004 and decided we could no longer keep up the pace. Since none of our 3 children was interested in taking over, we decided to get out.
It was a wonderful experience-we got to meet and know many people and that is what we miss the most. Lots of people from Plainville would stop in when visiting the area and that was a big bonus.
We have traveled a bit but now we save our travel time to visit our daughter and 2 grandchildren in Nevada. We are in the process of building a vacation home in northern Maine (where I was born) on a piece of lakefront property that we bought when we were in our twenties.
We have seven grandchildren now that bring a whole new outlook to our life. What fun! Steve is a salesperson for a wire & cable company here in town and does a lot of traveling in New England, New York and occasionally, the west coast.

n-medical home care for people who need complementary help to remain at home and avoid nursing home care. It is very gratifying.
We miss Plainville as it was but not so much as it is. We live in a small town where people still know each other, much as Plainviille used to be. We do miss being with family who are still there , and our old friends. We still keep in touch and visit often. Sometimes the reasons for the visits are not always happy. We recently attended a wake for 'Coach' Riera and previously, Ivan Wood, where we got a chance to reconnect with lots of friends. We also try to attend the Hall of Fame banquets and got quite a few classmates to attend the induction of "Coach' Palmer a few years ago.
I have made many correction as I have typed this but for any misspellings or grammatical errors or typos, I apologize to the memory of Mrs. Prior, Mrs. MacMillan and Mr.. Forcella!
Steve and I just celebrated our 42nd Anniversary. We dated for 8 years. Let's see, 42 and 8 is ???? YIKES11 I used to think that was so old. LIFE IS GOOD!
