Life
My Pets
Well, all I have left now is my 11 year old little dog Squeaker. He is a long-haired chihuahua. My baby, a black Doberman named Mr. Spock, had to find a new home when he got grouchy with my grandson.
My Kids
Daniel is living in my house, taking care of it for me since I moved to Texas. He has two kids from his first marriage. I'm the grandmother of 12 year old Daniel,Jr. and Deanna, who is 8 years old. He is re-married and has latest arrival, Tanner, who is 3 years old. He also inherited a step-son, so I have inherited a grandson. That makes the score three boys and one girl.
My Job
Getting harder to do due to the nursing shortage, but I'm still hanging in there. Took ...Expand for more
forever to get a license in Ohio, but I'm working now, and making better money than in Tenn, so it's working out.
Workplace
I am currently still working as a nurse, and it's much more difficult to do now than it was 30 yrs ago, but I'm hanging in there.
I've moved again, and I'm happier than I have been in years. I'm living and working in Texas. I've gone back into the hospital and gotten a job in a progressive care unit. It's the next best thing to the ICU which was always my first love.
I'd gotten so behind on procedures and new equipment in the years I had to spend working outside the ICU, I needed this to get caught up again. I'm actually considering going back to critical care.
