Life
May 5, 2008. Wow, where has the time flown to? Still me. Still goofy. Still in the loop. My bf and i are lving together. We have been together 2 1/2 years now. I have been at my job for 5 1/2 years. My oldest has graduated high school, in her 3 year of college, moved out 1 1/4 years ago and living in Galveston. My youngest daughter is graduating from high school this June. My son will be entering high school in the fall.
I have been contacted by Norma R on this website about a possible 20 year reunion, but do not have a set date. I hope some of you who knew me or Norma or would just like to see how everyone is doing now would get in touch with her. She has a Stephen F. Austin m space account. Dec 28, 2006. Still the same me, kinda goofy just a bit more mature. I live in the loop, been at my firm 4yrs now. My kids are getting older, maturer, into their own lives...I've been dating a wonderful guy for 14 months now. He's away on business a lot but in the long run it will benefit us. I've hooked up with a couple of buddies from middle school. Stella Morales and Monica Lopez-Kidd. We hang out together when our lives permit. We all have kids, I think mine are the oldest...lol. I met and married Manuel Robles, Jr. After 3 wonderful kids and 10 years of marraige, we divorced. I've been single for 10 years. I live in the Montrose/Midtown area. Work downtown for a law firm and live a simple life. Wanted to revisit with some of the old gang, start up old friendships and what not. Interested in any future events, reunions or get togethers. School
Hmm, I went steady, is that how its said, with Douglas "Killer" Keller. My biggest mistake was falling for the wrong guy while with him. I could of went about telling him better. Same for the bad guys girlfriend...*winks* Hey we were young and stupid. I had a great English teach in 9th grade. He taught us so much, without English books. Needless to say I got an A both semesters.
College
I went to HCC Central in the Culinary Arts program. I was breaking my back to make it to class each morning. I was working fulltime, fulltime student and fulltime mother of my 3 kids and was engaged. The relationship failed and after awhile it got to be too much and I didnt complete my last class. I became disgusted with the way my co-workers sexually harassed women in the workplace(restaurants) and left returning to the rat race.
Workplace
I work at a Maritime law firm in downtown. I enjoy my work and can specialize in this field after another year. But my dream was to open a restaurant/bakery/catering company. Something about cooking food and pleasing palates makes me giddy. Who knows maybe it will happen.
Military
When I transfered to Austin I enrolled in ROTC. My goal was to finish high school and go straight into the military. I wanted to do a tour or two and let them pay for my college education. Once I started a family I would raise army brats....welll sh*t that didint happen did it?!!
