Life
Still in Richmond...working as a Lieutenant in Patrol for the County Police...I'm still a crime fighter! Still drumming...Need to get back to VT for a little vacation action...
College
Graduated from the University of Richmond. I have an associates degree from Lyndon State College (VT). Am in a program now to achieve my Master's in CJ, AND working full time...but the payoff will be outstanding...
Workplace
Came to Richmond in '94 after working in VT for about 3 years as an officer in Bradford/Orange County/VSP...Wanted to work full time and I got it. Worked patrol for about 4 years, street crimes for 4 years, and got promoted to Sergeant in March of '02. Working back in Patrol again after a year in Logistics, but I am also a SWAT member, teaching in the academy, and playing drums for the department band. mpare to a little over 300 troopers in the whole state of VT). I like it here, but I know I'm not in Kansas anymore...! I thoroughly enjoy working the street (patrol) but I want to get back into the streetcrimes unit I worked in dealing with guns, drugs, and interdiction. Lots of fun in that unit...
Military
Went into the USAF in 8/87. After Basic, the Security Police Academy, and M-60 machinegun specialist school I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base from Jan/88 to Feb/90. Then I got stationed at Altus AFB in Oklahoma, and was deployed to the middle east for Desert Shield / Desert Storm. I did about 3.5 years in the VT Air Guard, got sent to England during that stint, but I separated when I moved to VA. I miss the travel opportunities. I miss the comradarie, but I have a good bunch of peeps here with me and I keep in touch with lots of my military friends...
