Life
Ok, so it's been 13 years (!) since I
last walked out of the hallowed halls
of Hidden Valley. Where in the world
have I been? Who have I seen?
Have I created a tonic that regrows
hair on scalps and, miraculously,
also gets rid of unwanted ear hair??
I know you're all just dying to find out.
Or, more likely, perhaps just
moderately interested. Yeah, this
"getting back in touch with folks" is
FUN stuff!
I know what you're saying at this
point: "Who in the world IS this guy?"
I'm the guy who have the big-wave
hair, had my pic taken with my
motorcycle for the ...Expand for more
yearbook, and
wanted to be a heart surgeon... So,
am I a heart surgeon?
Uh, no. But I'm not too far off. I earned my Ph.D. in
Biochemistry at the University of
Tennessee. I am a mass spectrometrist, and studied
downstream signaling of the delta
opioid receptor (morphine is the drug
that activates the mu opioid receptor
and the delta opioid receptor is
closely related). YES!!! It is terribly
exciting, this science stuff. My next
project will be to create a
super-bouncy substance that can
make regular-Joes into super
basketball slam-dunkers. I will call
it: FLUBBER.
